    Description

Presented is a fine pair of American coin silver tablespoons or serving spoons
made by M. Moses of Boston.  The spoons are done in the classic Fiddle pattern
with a monogram of DJ on the end of the handle.  These spoons were made around
    the 1810s.
The spoons are marked on the reverse with M. Moses for the maker. Tested and
guaranteed to be 900 purity silver.
The condition is excellent.  The bowls are highly polished, so perhaps some
scratches or dents were removed.  Otherwise there are no dents, no splits, no
    breaks, and no monogram removals.
The spoons are 8 5/8 inches long.
The weight is 112.6 grams or 3.9 ounces.
