Description
Set of 6 Coin Silver Tea Spoons, marked JDH in a banner, attributed to John D. Haverstick, son of William Haverstick, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Each has a monogram "MA" at the top, with dashes or stitch-marks around the letters.These are fresh to the market and were just unearthed in a multi-generational family home in a town between Carlisle & Harrisburg that was part of Lancaster Co. in the early 1800s.
There is normal wear and tarnishing from age and storage. There are a few spoons with slight bends to the handles and one has a small dent in the bottom of the spoon. See photos.
Each piece is about 5-3/4" long. weight: 68.45 grams total for the set. Average about 11-1/2 grams each, but one is 10.85
