    Description

    Rare antique American Federal Period, New York State 1802-1818 Storm & Wilson, Poughkeepsie, Coin Silver Tongs/Sugar Tongs.
    The tips are Acorns
    .
    These Federal period tongs are clearly marked on the back side of each tong.
    There is a monogram on the handles curve that appears to possibly be "J.L.", see photo.
    Just as I found it at a local estate, wonderful condition for the age. It's
    in need of a little polishing.
