    Description

Presented is a classic, American coin silver table or place spoon from the early 19th century. The handle is in a coffin end form, traditional of the late 1700s and early 1800s. There is an old monogram of the letter H over the letters E and M. This usually symbolizes a union or marriage, with the first name initials under the newly joined last name initial.
Although this piece is not marked, it has been tested and is guaranteed to be coin silver purity.
This old piece is in excellent condition. There is some minor surface wear but there are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The spoon measures 8 3/4 inches long and weighs 53 grams or 1.9 ounces or 1.7 troy ounces.
