Antique late 1800's  Silver Sherbet Spoon Turkish Coin w. Tugras Moon & Star Islamic / Ottoman
Here is a beautiful and unusual Islamic item
A silver spoon with long twisted handle topped with moon and star over a crown
It was made using an antique Turkish silver coin with sultan's tughra on both sides
An interesting Ottoman artifact dating back to the late 1800's/early 1900's
Marked 800 on the handle
The long handle suggest that it was used for stirring a drink in tall glass, such as sherbet
All original, Ottoman Turkey. Late 19th/early 20th century
