bought in an estate auction  they are similar but not a pair.  both monogrammed 1 on top 1 on underside.  the marker writing was done by the previous owner.  the scale is a postal scale so it isnt exact to the gram.  the C P Carter piece also has the Ware stamp. the other is Bacon Smith  Boston
