    Description

    Antique American coin silver  salt spoon with shell design bowl bearing the characteristic Star Lion D hallmarks of John Lawson Westervelt Newburgh New York active 1848-1905. Also bears a retailers name of Henderson Bros possibly from Crystal Falls, MI circa 1900-1910 but I always thought Henderson was from Poughkeepsie, NY ....which is where I live and bought the spoon and is very close to Newburgh, NY.
    Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches. No monogram. Would further benefit from gentle polishing.....otherwise g
