Antique American coin silver spoon with Star Lion D hallmarks often attributed to John Westerveldt of Newburgh , NY active 2nd quarter 19th century. Also with apparent retailers mark of FF Quintard Poughkeepsie, NY active 1845-1865 as a jeweler and silver retailer.....or so I have read.
Measure approximately 6 1/8 inches and weigh a delicate 18 grams. Monogrammed as shown...possibly ABS in old flowing script.
Good
estate found condition as described above....minor wear and imperfections from age and normal use.....would benefit from gentle polishing...otherwise ready for use or display.
