Description
FANTASTIC! American coin silver pitcher by the New York firm Wood & Hughes.Engraved with ornate swag, grape vines, and a phoenix crest.
8 ¼” tall, 10” handle to spout, and 6” wide.
26.5 troy ounces!
It looks like it was repaired at the corner of the spout, and along the bottom of the spout. See the photos.
The handle is splitting at the base, the bottom curve has a tear about 3/8” long.
It has excellent patina, with a hand hammered texture, as well as many small dents and dings around the bulb.
