From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this
c1840 NEWELL HARDING BOSTON COIN SILVER 8 1/8” LONG TABLE or SERVING SPOON.
Weighing approximately 1.2 ounces (35 grams), It is monogrammed with what I believe is AJC and is in very good antique condition with one small typical crease noticeable in the bowl as well as some wear along the left front edge of the spoon indicating it was used by a right handed person.
It is marked as shown N. Harding and any dark areas or color you may see in the photos are just reflections off the very shiny surface.
