Offered for sale is abeautiful example of
"American Coin Silver"
,
a Brite Cut Serving Spoon manufactured by the Farrington & Hunnewell Co. of Boston Massachusetts probably in the 1850-60's .
The Coin Silver Serving Spoon is
8 7/8"
in length,
weighs 1.91 troy ozs
. with a twist handle and a brite cut pattern on the top portion of the handle.
The back
side of the handle has the silversmiths hallmark. The Serving spoon is in very good, used condition with No Monogram or repairs. The Serving Spoon has normal surface wear
commensurate with the age of the piece and normal usage.
