R. & W. Wilson was a premier silver maker in Philadelphia in the early 19th century between 1825 and 1850 The tureen is in good condition for the age no major dents or dings just needs a good polishing. R. & W. Wilson's silver is featured in many Museums including the Philadelphia museum of art.
