Fabulous c1850 American Coin Silver Creamer/Pitcher By Lincoln & Foss

Presented is a fine American coin silver milk or cream pitcher. This piece was made by Lincoln & Foss of Boston, and dates to circa 1850. The pitcher is fabulously hand chased with classic scroll and leaf designs, very detailed and skillfully done. Even the thumbpiece of the handle is finely textured and detailed, done in the form of a leaf. The interior of the pitcher is clean as can be, and the marks of hand hammering are visible from the inside. One one side of the pot is a cartouche with a presentation monogram reading CFA to CWR. The cartouche on the other side has never been monogrammed.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is a tiny ding to the blank cartouche, but this is not an indication of a monogram removal and is very hard to notice without close, careful inspection. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped 'coin' and with the maker's mark for Lincoln & Foss of Boston.
The creamer is about 6 3/4 inches tall.
This piece weighs 292 grams or 10.3 regular ounces.
