Description
Offered for sale is a early American "Coin Silver Medallion" Napkin Ring
manufactured by the
Gorham Mfg. Company in the 1850's based on the hallmarking.
The dimensions on the napkin ring are 1 1/8" X 2 3/8" and the front has a applied Medallion head of the Greek Goddess. The back side of the Medallion disk on the exposed edges have the
early Gorham hallmark
with the standing right facing lion and the model number 440 on the opposite edge. The back of the napkin ring has a script name which is worn and we can not make out. The Napkin ring is in very nice used condition for its age with no splits or repairs.
