    Description

    Gorham "Grecian" style coin silver serving spoon measures just over 8'' and has a beautiful scalloped design.  Marked COIN on back and PATENT 1861.  It is my understanding that COIN silver on this piece ended in 1869.  Engraved with the name Lottie.  There are no dents on this piece, but there are some surface scratches due to use and age.  Beautiful antique spoon.  Found at an estate sale in NC.
