    Description
    Offered for Sale is this Large Serving Spoon attributed to Jacob Wood. The rear handle has the Lion-W-Bust mark in rectangular cartouche attributed to Jacob Wood, New York City (1834-1839). The spoon also has the merchants mark B.G for Baldwin Gardiner, NYC between 1827 and 1847. Based on these markings, I have dated the spoon circa 1834.
    This Early Antique Coin Silver Spoon would make a Great Addition to any Antique Silver Collection.

    ondition - There is staining, scratching, tarnish and wear as one might expect on a spoon of this age. There is a small nip to the front bowl of the spoon. Please view the pictures and judge condition for yourself.
