    JOHN DAVENPORT coin silver SERVING SPOON
    This spoon is Circa 1789
    There is another one of the same pattern listed under Hester Bateman
    The hallmark is ID for John Davenport who worked in Baltimore, M.D. from 1789 to 1793
    From 1793 to 1796 he worked in Philadelphia, PA, and the again in Baltimore in 1796.
    Handmade bright cut work on the handle, monogrammed ST in the cartouche, 9" long, the bowl is 1&5/8" across at the widest.
    It is in very good condition, no and straight, no dings, no dents, the pattern is crisp, not worn.
