    Ladle weights 150 grams or about 5 Troy ounces. Condition is excellent
    Abijah B. Warden worked as a Philadelphia Silversmith 1842 thru 1850. This ornate ladle was made for a family with the last name “Comegys”. In ancestry.com I found a B B Comegys who was listed as a merchant in Philadelphia. Currently the Philadelphia school system has a Comegys elementary school
