Description
Offered for Sale is this Nehemiah Beach Bassett Coin Silver Spoon, Albany NY. The rear stem of the spoon has the makers mark for Nehemiah Bassett in rectangular cartouche. The front handle has the monogram E DHB.
Bassett worked in Albany from 1795 to 1800 before entering into a partnership with Joseph Warford at which time the mark changed. He again worked from 1805 to 1820 in Albany before moving to Schenectady NY in 1820.
This Early Antique Coin Silver Spoon would make a Great Addition to any Antique Silver Collection.
Condition: - Good to Very Good C
ondition - There is staining, scratching, tarnish and wear as one might expect on a spoon of this age. Please view the pictures and judge condition for yourself.
