Description
This is a very nice serving spoon in the King’s pattern made by Henry Harland of New Orleans, Louisiana prior to the Civil War. The spoon measures 8 5/8 inches long and weighs 60 grams. The spoon has a shell on the back where the handle meets the bowl. The spoon has the original monogram of “ML”. The spoon is clearly marked “HARLAND”. The tip shows wear as indicated in the photos. Also, the shell on the back of the bowl is quite worn where it rested on the table. Still, the spoon is quite lovely and serviceable.Domestic Priority Mail shipping is .00.
