    Description

    An American coin silver teaspoon, hand engraved on the Fiddle handle face end in script "Standerwick".  The spoon weighs .75 troy ounces and measures 6 1/8 inches long and 1 1/4 inches across the bowl.  Marked on the back of the handle "S. Hoyt & Co. 266 Pearl St." for Seymour Hoyt who worked in New York, NY c. 1842.  There are tiny nicks and scratches overall, and several tiny nicks on the edge of the bowl, and some mild tarnish, otherwise in good antique condition.
