    Description

    This is a very nice teaspoon in the tipped pattern made by Stanford Hovey. Hovey worked in Manchester, New Hampshire and was active between 1854 and 1869. The spoon measures 5 1/2 inches long and weighs 10 grams. The spoon has the original monogram of “MB” on the back of the handle. The spoon is clearly marked “S. Hovey”. The tip shows very little wear as indicated in the photos, otherwise, the spoon is quite lovely and serviceable.
