Vintage Henriot Quimper a La Touche Scalloped Dinner Plate Breton Man RimRub
Vintage Henriot Quimper Dinner Plate. Features a Breton Man playing an instrument, with the "a la touche" garland border. The backstamp is the "f and d"mark which dates to production from 1968 to 1983. The Henriot portion of the mark is a printed stamp and includes "entierement decore a main in a half circle".
Measures approximately 10 inches across from scallop to scallop.
It is in well preserved condition with no cracks or chips. There are no fleabites or nics. There is some paint wear or thin paint in one area on the very side of the rim of the plate (see photos). There are little to no utensil markings. There is no crazing. The pattern remains vibrant with little to no wear from use. We have labeled this as Man #1 simply because we have more Quimper plates with a man playing a different musical instrument. The backstamp on this plate shows Form Number 5 (f5) with the artist's initials "JJ".
